Day 4 - Government Rapid to Clay Hills Crossing
Normally would not attempt a 20 mile out day but with the water level and flow, was not going to be an issue. Still had to watch for the deepest channel and stick close to the sides, but the usual struggle to Clay Hills did not happen. Just point downstream and go. Pulled into Oljeto Wash planning the second major day hike.  Mud as far as I could see cancelled that option.  The mouth of the wash looks much different than when last here in 2005. The beach has shrunk and the tammies have taken over.
