River mile 213.2 and 216.0. At this point we were trying to kill time during the short days on the river. We only had 13-14 miles for each of the last two days on the river and were trying to stretch them out. Not much to do at Pumpkin itself since you didn't want to touch the water. Some swam and jumped and we spent an hour there. The heat was upon us and we tried to avoid it at 3 Springs Canyon. Not a lot of success. Hot and dry above the spring with minimum shade. In fact, apparently no one took any photos while there.
