With the exception of a nearly packed commercial, had Diamond Creek to ourselves. Initially it was hot with clear skies for the start of rigging, but the thunderheads were soon overhead. The muddy water did not make for an inviting dip, but it was a cooling requirement. First time not using a boat bag for transit, first time to have a wear hole in a tube. Usually considered over-anal for my repair kit, this time the wonder tape proved a life-saver. Was incredibly lucky to find the hole so easily.
