It really wasn't chaos at Tag's office or at the ramp, but definitely not a normal day. The rain along with cancelled and rescheduled trips had everyone a bit frazzled and bewildered. We are floating an entirely different river for a week than planned. Fortunately there was a break in the rain for just long enough to rig the boats. Didn't start again until time to put the boats in the water. That is when Duncan's left tube was discovered to have a fast leak. Attempted to make a go of it but he made the wise choice after two minutes of float time that the boat was not going to make it. Fortunately Tag's jet boat driver had soap to find the leak and I had a large patch kit. George and I feeling guilty as we knew we were going, regardless of the leak. Otherwise, Duncan would have had to repair/rent and catch up the next day.
